Don't blame O'brien. When he was doing his job defending the carpenter work he worked his heart out. Speaking of the Pru, O'brien fought
against the council and mynor perez who put up picket lines claiming the framing of subfloors was floorlayer's work.
And you see what that got him. Laidoff. The fools at the council feared him because he demanded accountability. He was accountable to
himself and the members he worked for. Now there is no accountabilty to the members. Thats what council leadership wants. Ignorance by
the members is bliss to this crowd.
The conflict at the Pru has been going on for awhile with one tenant but the overall the Prudential Center has been a GOLDMINE in terms
of accumulated hours for the carpenters and their funds. It has been a delicate situation that has worked overall in the total picture.
If O'brien was working for us , the members, he would been able to work with the Pru management, the steward and the tenant to a fair
solution to get our members working. Why? because he was respected due to his past dealings with them. He has that kind of quality
sorely missed except for the council leadership. They are a malevolent bunch. Just look at them. No Marshall, Harrington, Larry or
Edson in that group. O'brien continue the legacy these men left before being underminded by Ehlich, percario and perez. Malevolence
can't trounce a good man. The members now for suffer for their treachery.
